Render pipelines

Use the default URP samples or replace them with another pipeline.

The imported package includes URP samples in SAMPLES. Shared source, models, textures, animation and audio live outside that folder.

Switch to HDRP or Built-in

  1. Back up custom changes inside SAMPLES and close its scenes.
  2. Delete only Assets/InanEvin/Realistic Sniper and Ballistics/SAMPLES in the Project window.
  3. Import the matching HDRP.unitypackage or Built-in.unitypackage from UNPACK-FOR-HDRP-BUILTIN.
  4. Configure the matching render pipeline in your project, then open the replacement scenes under SAMPLES/Scenes.

The archives populate only SAMPLES and refer to shared assets. They do not install/configure the pipeline or change Player settings. Importing on top of the existing samples can leave obsolete files; replace the folder instead. Restore URP by reimporting SAMPLES from the original asset download.

Unity material conversion can help with a custom scene, but lighting, cameras, terrain and other pipeline-specific settings still require review. Use the matching sample camera setup for scope and bullet-time work.

Current archive status

The supplied UNPACK-FOR-HDRP-BUILTIN/README.txt states that this working copy's alternative archives retain earlier rendering content, with updated paths and EventSystems. They still require Unity 6.3 rendering validation and re-export from matching HDRP/Built-in projects before publishing the package update. Their presence is not evidence that those pipelines have been validated for this update.

The package includes Docs/QUICKSTART.pdf and an offline Docs/RSB Documentation.pdf, plus the short guide's Markdown source. This website contains the maintained setup and API instructions.

Publisher workflow

Keep URP in SAMPLES for the main release. Open matching HDRP and Built-in projects, preserve the shared asset GUIDs, and make pipeline changes under SAMPLES. Export through Tools → RSB → Export SAMPLES Package, which exports that folder recursively without dependencies. Put the resulting archives in UNPACK-FOR-HDRP-BUILTIN.

Before publishing, import each archive into a clean matching project and check the scenes, materials, lighting, scope, particles, terrain, bullet-time cameras and controls. Alternative archives should contain only SAMPLES content; shared source and assets remain in the main package.
