Changelog
Input, packaging and gameplay integration changes in RSB.
1.3 (current)
- Added support for the new Input System and legacy Input Manager in Unity 6.3. With Both enabled, demos prefer the new backend. Sample EventSystems select the matching UI module.
- Organized scenes, materials, system prefabs and settings under SAMPLES, with URP included by default. HDRP and Built-in alternatives import into SAMPLES from UNPACK-FOR-HDRP-BUILTIN; see render pipeline status.
- Moved editor entries to Tools โ RSB and added a SAMPLES-only package exporter.
- Fixed missing BulletProperties references on hit records and bullet-time paths. ActivateBullet now raises EBulletActivated after preparation; activation errors name the correct method.
- Added optional BulletDamageProfile assets for independent ammunition damage values and a Gameplay Damage section in the bullet Inspector.
- Added the per-shot firing overload with independent origin, direction, prepared zero distance, collision mask and shooter. Shooter colliders are ignored by default, with an option to allow self-hits.
- Added shot IDs, shooter references, original aim data and exact collider/rigidbody references to BulletPoint. Identity is preserved through penetration, ricochet, cinematic replay and fallback.
- Updated the online manual and code examples. Added an offline PDF manual and PDF versions of the Quickstart and alternative-pipeline README, alongside the editable short guides.
