Choosing an integration
Use the full sample player or connect ballistics to your own game.
For a first-person sniper prototype, begin with FullDemo.unity, then adapt the player, scope and camera effects. For touch input, inspect MobileDemo.unity.
For an existing shooter, start with MinimalDemo.unity and the scene tutorial. You need one SniperAndBallisticsSystem, a configured EnvironmentProperties asset, an activated BulletProperties asset and either a configured firing transform or per-shot origin and direction. Call FireBallisticsBullet from your weapon code and subscribe to hit events for damage, effects or forces.
The same API can be used from third-person characters or vehicles. Configure the firing transform and collision mask for that controller. The sample movement, scope and weapon are optional; the scene-level ballistics system remains the shared dependency.
Bullet time changes the global Unity timescale. Integrate its lifecycle with your camera, player and AI logic before using it in an existing game.
